20 Years Ago: The Eagles Reunite For Hell Freezes Over Tour

20 years ago today ( May 27, 1994 ) , the Eagles reunited for the first time in 14 years to begin their Hell Freezes Over Tour in Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre in Irvine , California, and was at least partly due to the music of country 's biggest stars .

The band split in 1980, after the release of his album ' Eagles Live’. Group members , including Glenn Frey, Don Felder and Don Henley, had been in conflict with each other since their 1979 album , ' The Long Run' , but were contractually obligated to his record company Elektra Records, to record definitive live album before they could dissolve. Unfortunately, at that time, Frey and Henley could not even be in the same room, so they recorded their voices in different studies in different states.

But while the singers 'Hotel California ' was ready to run away from his record; his fans were not so willing to let them go. In 1993, several country artists - including Trisha Yearwood, Diamond Rio, Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt and Tanya Tucker - Eagles recorded a tribute album: The album, which covered some of his biggest hits ' Common Thread the Songs of the Eagles. , Including “Peaceful Easy Feeling ", "I Cannot Tell You Why”, "Heartache Tonight" and "Best of My Love ," soared to the top of the charts and sold over three million units .

From ' Hell Freezes Over ‘, the Eagles have maintained a band of touring and recording, releasing several albums since, including the 2003 record, ' The Very Best Of “, which sold over five million units in the United States, and a new double album, " Long Road out of Eden ' in 2007. Felder spent seven years with the group before it was fired from the band in 2001.

Eagles The Eagles have again extended its ongoing "History of the Eagles” tour, this time tacking over the west coast stops at the following itinerary European and UK tours. Tickets go on sale this weekend concerts in nine markets, including Tacoma, WA (8/25); New York City (9/ 13); and San Diego, CA (10/4).

Phish Phish Jam -Rock and collect North America this summer and tickets in most markets this weekend are available. On-sale includes performances several nights in Saratoga Springs, New York (7.3 to 7.5); City of New York (07.11 to 07.13); and Chicago, IL (7/18-19); among others.

" Artrave : artpop Ball " by Lady Gaga will venture through various U.S. cities in the coming months , and as of this weekend , fans can buy concert tickets in Phoenix , AZ ( 7/30) ; Las Vegas ( 8/1) ; and Lake Tahoe, CA ( 8/2) .

Keith Urban
Keith Urban continues to promote “fuse “last year, with shows in North America. Starting Friday (3/28), fans can purchase tickets to shows in Noblesville, IN (8/2); Raleigh, North Carolina (8 /8); and Charlotte, North Carolina (8 /22).

under the streetlight Vocal Group will set up shop for a couple of nights each in New Orleans, LA (08.14 to 08.16) and Robinsonville, MS (8.21 to 8.23 ). Tickets for the concerts go on sale on Friday (3/28).

Tim McGraw will take some time away from his home in Las Vegas / collaboration with wife Faith Hill for "Sundown sky city” road trip. Tickets are on sale Friday (3/28) concert in Hartford, CT (6/13); Bristow, VA (6/14); and Toronto, Ontario (7 /20).

Josh Groban has a handful of performances scheduled in August along the east coast. Two concerts - A show August 23 in Bethel, New York, and a concert of August 29 Uncasville, CT -go on sale Friday (3/28).

Concert News: The Eagles Coming To Boston, John Mellencamp Bound For Mohegan Sun, And More

John Mellencamp hits the road this summer and the trip includes a stop at Mohegan Sun Arena on July 5. Tickets for the concert are priced at $ 49.50 and will go on sale beginning Friday, March 28 at 10 am through all outlets and locations.



The Queen and Adam Lambert performance scheduled for July 19 at the Mohegan Sun Arena sold out so quickly that a second show has been added. Mating (with Lambert taking on the role of Freddie Mercury) also play place on July 25. Tickets for the second concert will go on sale Saturday at 10 am.

Eagles Add Seats; Announce Ticket Prices

The Philadelphia Eagles announced that they are starting the construction of the second phase of its revitalization project stage two years including the addition of approximately 1,600 new seats and installing new HD video card brand and ribbon boards carried Lincoln Financial Field. The Eagles will also be adjusting ticket prices in different sections of the stadium. 
The main changes include new seating bowl seating sections in the northeast and southwest corners of the stadium that will also connect the upper concourse.

" For the first time since we opened the Lincoln Financial Field in 2003 , we have the opportunity to add seats, " said President Don Smolenski . "We are excited to add new fans to the family of Eagles."

 Glass bottom , middle and top level - typically those at all levels of the building is added. The seats added to the lower cup will have a Stadium Builders License , which maintain the integrity and value of the SBL that were originally sold in 2003. All season tickets in the lower bowl will still have a seat license .

"Over the years we have received a number of requests from our members to purchase season tickets for licensing , relocate their seats or purchase additional tickets ,"

  said Smolenski . "By adding new seats to our stadium , there are opportunities to meet some of these requests . Our sales office will be managing this process in the coming months and we will be fair and flexible throughout the process."

Approximately 52 % of tickets will increase in price, while 43 % will remain the same and 5% will be reduced. The design of the previous stadium tickets grouped into five categories and the new design will consist of eight .

"With the seats added and the bowl structure of our changing room, we took a step back and review how the building was priced " Smolenski said. "We decided to adjust prices in certain sections to more accurately reflect its value and popularity compared to other sectors of the stadium . "
